BEST EVENT CATERER
Boulevard began life 31 years ago, as a 50 cover family run restaurant in the heart of Hackney. Since the beginning our biggest priority has been to provide the most personal, attentive service possible for the clients that put their trust in us. It sounds similar to every other caterer, but when you begin life as a 50 cover restaurant, where every member of staff knows every customer’s name, the table they sit at, how they take their gin and tonic and how they like their steak cooked, it creates a culture of customer service that’s very unique to a family run company. It’s a culture that we have carried into our first in-house catering contract with The Arcelormittal Orbit with great success from July 2018 to present. Our customer focused approach to service and willingness to be flexible and creative with our catering offer has led to some incredible feedback. It’s also given the venue the ability to offer a much wider variety of catering services and respond to a higher percentage of enquiries, with a viable solution to the brief. It’s the start of a three year partnership that has had a very successful start.
Caper and Berry
Caper & Berry are an independent, privately owned catering company with strong ambitions. Established in 2000, we are now one of London and the South’s premier catering choices. Passionate about food quality and creating innovative menus for our clients, we specialise in weddings, private parties and corporate events. Our team delivers innovative food for events within some of London’s finest venues St Pauls, Royal Horticultural Halls, Kew Gardens, Roundhouse, Old Billingsgate, Lancaster House, Hedsor House, Hampton Court House and other favourites. We are proud to be the exclusive caterers for East Winter Garden and OXO2 delivering a broad range of events from corporate award ceremonies to stunning weddings. Earlier this year Create food by CH&CO extended its in-house partnership at London’s largest livery Hall, Plaisterers’ Hall for a further five years since first partnering in 2010. The partnership is worth £12millionin turnover over the duration of the contract.
Green and Fortune
Launched in 2008, Green & Fortune manages all catering and sales of events spaces at two iconic venues, Kings Place Events and Sea Containers Events.
2018 marked the 10th anniversary of Green & Fortune, the year was a stand-out year for the company, with a number of milestones as well as commercial success and re-investment into facilities.
KERB is the UK’s leading street food organisation and our catering programme is the fastest growing part of our business. Since its start in 2013 KERB has grown into a full service catering company running over 200 corporate and private events a year and is listed as an approved supplier at some of London’s most iconic venues including the Natural History Museum, Somerset House, Royal Museums Greenwich, the Museum of London and the Roundhouse. Keeping our independent traders as the heart of everything we do, KERB has become a major disruptor in the London events industry and a viable alternative to clients seeking a point of difference from more traditional event catering options.
The year was 1847. The Duke of Northumberland spotted potential in a talented young pastry chef in his kitchen team. Eventually, seeing the budding chef was destined for bigger things, he offered to support him as he set off to found what was to become the UK’s first catering company. The eager patissier was called John Searcy, and thus Searcys and Sons was born. 172 years later, employing over 200 people across 25 sites across the UK and a head office in Farringdon, Searcys is thriving as a thoroughly modern 21st century operation, while staying true to its heritage.
In 2013, after an extensive refurbishment programme, Searcys launched its flagship conference and events venue: 30 Euston Square at the Royal College of General Practitioners. Built in 1906, the venue is a Grade II* listed building integrating a superb choice of flexible day and night spaces.
